Cutting it to the chase. YOU STARTED THE WAR when you supported the Coup d'etat in 2014. The DPR and LPR conducted their own Referendums and voted to secede from Ukraine. Russia initially disagreed in recognising the DPR and LPR Republics but due to the 14,000 Donbass Russian Speakers deaths, and the failure of the Minsk agreement in 2015, the UNSC vetoed the UN Peacekeeping interdiction, the Russian went unilaterally with the Special Military Operation on February 24th, 2022. Then another Referendum was conducted on September 27th, 2022. The Duma ratified the results from the Five Oblasts Referendums which voted overwhelmingly to Secede from Ukraine and become part of the Russian Federation. There were independent observers viewing the legitimacy of the Referendums. The Duma ratified the inclusion of the Five Oblasts into the Russian Federation on October 3rd 2022. The Geopolitical contest was over. However, the Ukrainian, EU, NATO and even the UN rejected the legitimacy of the Duma legislation inclusion of the additional Oblasts into the Russian Federation. The political endgame has concluded the Trial by Combat continues. It is like a Chess game whereby the Russians have captured the Ukrainian King and have won the Game. Unfortunately, NATO and the West are still moving their chess pieces long after the King was captured on October 3rd 2022.
