Op Southern Spear includes the USS Iwo Jima ARG- 22nd MEU escorted by the Ford CSG with 9 Squadrons. (FA18 super hornets/Growlers. Puerto Rico air wing includes F-35s maybe F-22s? 12,000 ARG Rapid Response Force.

USS Ford CSG is supporting the USS Iwo Jima ARG and the 22nd MEU RRF and their imminent amphibious landing onto Venezuela. A very high risk, high reward gamble since the Chinese and Russians have deployed their military assets the Wagner Group and Spetsnaz elements are purportedly already in Venezuela training and advising the Venezuelan Defense Forces.

What is interesting is the Russian and Chinese willingness to test the Monroe Doctrine with helping the Venezuelan Forces, with Wagner Group deployment, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wagner_Group citing the Ukrainian NATO proxy war and more specifically for the US Mercenaries within Ukraine like Blackwater as Acadami Mercenaries or the Mozart Group, as telltale evidence of US Mercenaries activities within Ukraine since 2014. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozart_Group


In the meantime, Chinese and Russian military assets have arrived and deployed including elements of the Russian Spetsnaz advisors, and Wagner Group Mercenaries, training Venezuelan troops. Russian and Chinese Air Defense Batteries have arrived. Rumoured Oreshnik may be deployed to Venezuela on a probable strike against the US military targets throughout the Caribbean and the US mainland well within striking range.

The reciprocity proxy war for China and Russia may be realised through the US-Venezuela's Operation Southern Spear campaign?
