Samoan Synarchistic Oligarchy maintaining their Political Power within Samoan Democracy. Tim Tufuga


It is the Party Caucus who appoints the Cabinet Ministers including the PM, not the Samoan Parliament. If the Parliament appointed the PM then there is no need for Political Parties and that Samoa is ruled by a NON Party Parliamentary system made of constituencies or individual MPs made up of non party factionalism made up of individual self interested MPs without any regard for their constituencies and the welbeing of the Nation apart from maintaining their position of power. This is not a democracy, it is synarchistic oligarchic rule. In effect, Fiame has retained her Prime Ministership not by her Party, since a majority of the FAST MPs passed a consensus " NO CONFIDENCE " Motion against the PM, her Min for Police, Deputy PM, and other Associate Ministers of her FAST Cabinet, which effectively means that the overwhelming majority of the FAST Party, and therefore the Government Caucus, have overwhelmingly voted her out of her Prime Minister Portfolio along with five Cabinet Ministers.

However, whereas, PM Trudeau of Canada announced his retirement from Politics due to his overwhelming vote of no confidence by the Canadian Liberal Party, which prompted the Canadian PM to announce his retirement and to allow the Canadian Governor General to Prorogue the Canadian Parliament for a Canadian General Election, or to have an immediate By-election for his vacant Seat in March 2025.

In Samoan Politics, according to this interpretation of the Party Politics influence in the Samoan version of the Westminster Convention, the FAST Party Caucus have no influence whatsoever in removing the Cabinet Ministerial Portfolios of the Samoan Prime Minister and her minority supporting FAST Cabinet Ministers voted out of their Ministerial Portfolio Positions by the PM, based on her assumption, that the Party has no power in removing her Prime Ministership unless the majority of Parliament vote to remove her from Office.

Therefore, it appears that PM Fiame has formed a Majority of MPs within the Samoan Parliament by forming an Alliance with her minority FAST Cabinet Ministers along with MPs from the HRPP opposition Party. In this break from Westminster Conventions, the definition of Samoan Party Politics and its Westminster Structure has been circumvented by the PM CROSSING THE FLOOR with her minority FAST members and managed to secure the MAJORITY of MP Support from the HRPP in order to remain as the PM of Samoa. A complete break of the Democratic process of the Westminster System amongst all other Westminster Democracies outside of Samoa. In this regard Samoa has developed a unique Synarchistic Oligarchical ruling elite of permanent career Politicians remain in Parliament for the term of their natural lives. When they are threatened they coaelsce into elite factions to bypass the Westminster conventions of Parliamentary procedures in order to remain in power
